Old greeting cards from Packrat World

Now you now how truly pack-rat-y I am: here are two cards from my 4th birthday.  I love the bright colors and 70s styling on these!  They are addressed to Baby Jo inside.

The floppy eared dog was a perfect choice for a little girl who already loved her dog so much that she (the dog, Penny) slept with her under her crib and growled at anyone who came near her.

Did I mention I've saved a LOT of stuff from my childhood?

  1. I can relate to saving stuff from a long time ago. I found a stack of all my grade school paintings a few years ago, but honestly did not have the storage space to keep them when we moved my mom out of her house. It brought a tear to my eye when I let go of them. My favorite was a cow I painted with utters. I can remember how much I got teased for that. I can remember going to the principals office for getting into a fist fight over it. :(
