For the life of me, I can't remember what the MilkShake candy bar tasted like beyond it being a little like a Three Musketeers bar. But I remember liking it pretty well. Apparently there was a strawberry version as well.
So, remind me. Did it taste like a milkshake? From the description, it sounds like a superordinary, not-discontinued-but-still-tasty-and-available Milky Way bar.
I remember the milkshake bar...and from what I remember, it did taste alot like a Three Musketeers...now...do you remember Idaho Spud candy bars??

ReplyDeleteomg...i was just talking about these candy bars to my friend at work. does anyone have any idea if the company is still in business..or anywhere i can get my hands on one of these candy bars? they were my absolute favorite..and if i close my eyes i can almost taste the nougat-y goodness!! :)
ReplyDeleteThey Had a Malt flavour to them instead of just choc. Much better than a milky way
ReplyDeleteFolks not even close to a 3Musketeers or Milky Way both Mars products where a very close friend of mine is in the C-Suite but that's a whole different story. There is nothing else like the milkshake bar out there to compare it to. Guess what...It did not taste like a milkshake but they were incredible frozen..and I'm not a huge fan of frozen candy bars to begin with..How about Marathon Bars that was always my first choice on the way to a movie theater...
ReplyDeleteThey were best frozen or right out of the fridge! You could buy them and insert the stick and freeze them!
ReplyDeleteI use to get them at Lake-O-Pines where we spent many summer days camping ,fishing, swimming. The snack bar there always had them. They would put a stick in them and freeze them which made them even better during the summer.
